About Us:
Internship Immersion, a division of Immersion U, is a three-phase experiential learning program designed to help undergraduate and graduate students gain meaningful professional experience before graduation and successfully transition into the workforce. Unlike traditional internships that focus primarily on observation, participants are placed into roles where they perform real, weight-bearing work with tangible responsibilities, measurable outcomes, and the opportunity to create meaningful impact for the organizations they support.
Internship opportunities exist throughout the Good Ventures ecosystem and with Immersion U corporate partners. Students may support established companies, revenue-generating ventures, development-stage organizations, early-stage fundraising initiatives, and emerging business concepts while gaining hands-on experience in areas such as Business Development, Talent Recruiting, and Research Analysis. Eligible students may also earn up to three academic credit hours through participating university partners.
The program follows an approximately six-month, three-phase model consisting of onboarding and professional development, immersive work experience, and workforce entry assistance (Spring: 2 months, Summer: 2 months, Fall: 2 months). Throughout the experience, students develop practical skills, build professional networks, strengthen their résumés, and gain exposure to real-world challenges while receiving support as they prepare for full-time employment and future career opportunities.
By combining meaningful work, professional development, academic integration, and career transition support, Internship Immersion provides students with a bridge between higher education and the workforce while helping organizations access motivated emerging talent.

Because Internship Immersion is a six-month, three-phase program, we primarily serve students entering the second semester of their junior year of undergraduate study and students entering the second semester of their first year of graduate study. This timing allows participants to experience the full program journey, including professional development, immersive work experience, and workforce entry assistance, maximizing the value of the experience before graduation and workforce entry.
